At the event, Dr. Dzodin will comment on the U.S. presidential election results and what it could mean for China.

This will be followed by an extensive discussion with the audience, followed by a free Apero Rich

Dr. Dzodin is a Senior Fellow of the Center for China & Globalization, as well as a senior Consultant of the National Image Communication Research Center of Tsinghua University. Along with his wife Lisa Zhang, he founded the HCD Earthcare Culture Association to build sustainable global bridges of understanding, by organizing educational programs to inform young people and adults from different cultures about existential environmental issues, and help give them the skillsets they need to assume future leadership roles to save our challenged planet.

Dr. Harvey Dzodin is a Beijing and Vienna-based freelance columnist and commentator for China Daily, China Global TV Network, China Radio International, and other global media. Dr. Dzodin was appointed by the 39th US President Jimmy Carter as his lawyer on a presidential committee. After being nominated by the White House and the U.S. Department of State, he worked at the United Nations Office in Vienna. He also served as a director and vice president of the ABC TV Network in New York for more than 20 years during which time he avidly participated in the activities of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs. The American Biography Institute (ABI) recently named Dr. Dzodin one of the "Great Thinkers of the 21st Century."

The IdeaExchange event with Dr. Harvey Dzodin was a great success! The room was well filled, with numerous Chinese Studies students and other interested guests. Dr. Dzodin provided an analysis of the US presidential election results and their potential implications for China. Following the talk, a lively discussion developed, with the audience asking engaging questions and gaining valuable insights.

After the discussion, the announced Apéro took place. Participants took the opportunity to continue exchanging ideas over snacks and drinks, staying until the very end to have animated conversations about the evening's topics. The positive atmosphere and the great interest in the content made the event an inspiring and enriching experience for everyone involved.
