Recap of Our Successful Hot Pot Event on October 22nd

Dear members and friends of the Chinese Studies Student Association,

We are excited to share a recap of our Hot Pot event on October 22nd, which was a resounding success! 🎉

Sold-Out Event and Great Atmosphere

The evening took place in Building RAA, Room E-05/Cafeteria, and we were completely sold out. We offered special tickets for meat enthusiasts and vegetarians, ensuring there was something for everyone. People who didn't know each other before came together, sat around the pots, engaged in lively conversations, and made new friends. 🥘✨

Special Thanks to Wesley's Kitchen

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Wesley's Kitchen for sponsoring a CHF 5 voucher for each ticket buyer. This voucher was included directly with the ticket and was greatly appreciated by our participants. 🍜🎁

Smooth Organization Thanks to Eventfrog

The online ticket sales via Eventfrog saved us a lot of work and provided participants with an easy way to purchase tickets. The entry control using Eventfrog's Entry App was also simple and efficient. A big thank you to Eventfrog for these great tools! 🐸📱

Unexpected Power Outage and Quick Assistance

Shortly after the event began, we experienced a power outage. Thanks to the quick response of a UZH electrician, power was restored after about 30 to 40 minutes, and our Hot Pot evening was saved. We would like to thank him and everyone involved for their support. ⚡️🙏

Conclusion and Thanks to the Cafeteria Team

The event concluded around 9:15 PM. Our team then cleaned up and was allowed to use the cafeteria's facilities for washing up. A big thank you to the cafeteria team for their help and cooperation! 🍽️👏

Final Thoughts

Despite minor obstacles, the Hot Pot evening was an unforgettable success. We are thrilled with the positive feedback and look forward to future events with all of you!

Best regards,

Your Chinese Studies Student Association Team
